The summer of 2019 has been a different kind of summer. While we have done some exploring and activities while living in Bryan, Texas, the heat and humidity has limited our outings and kept us indoors more than usual.
An unexpected event turned out to be the assistance we needed when moving out of our house.
Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, the Ojito Wilderness is 11,000 acres of vast high desert, with mesas, box canyons, arroyos, and badlands.
We take the dogs on an adventure to the Embudito and Michael Emery Trails – part of the Albuquerque Open Space trail system.
Open Space Visitor Center has it all – art, trail maps, trails and, in the winter, Sandhill Cranes! Join us as we explore the visitor center and hike the trails.
